Description
Stencil card for a decorative scheme for a spare bedroom at The Hill House, Helensburgh. Cut-out areas are of a stylised flower with chequerboard stem and head, surrounded by a border of equally small squares, these shapes are edged with paint from execution. Designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh about 1904, made and executed by Guthrie & Wells, 1904.
